Product story

Description

A cushion-cut zultanite sits at the center of this half tennis bracelet in 925 sterling silver, framed by a halo of tiny zircons. From the stone, a short row of round zircons runs out along each side, and where the rows end the bracelet turns into a fine silver chain that closes with a spring ring clasp. Stones across the top of the wrist and plain chain underneath: that is the half tennis idea, and it keeps the whole bracelet at a light 6.9 grams.

The center stone is lab-grown zultanite, stabilized, with a color change effect. It has no single fixed color: in one light it reads honey gold, in another a clear yellow-green, and in another it turns raspberry pink. One stone gives the bracelet several looks without anything else about it changing.

Seen from the side, the cushion rests in an openwork silver basket with cut-out windows, and its corners are held by paired prongs. The zircons of the side rows sit in their own square settings, joined setting to setting, so that part of the bracelet wraps around the wrist rather than standing stiff. This is a gemstone bracelet where the two stones do different jobs: the zultanite brings the color, the zircons bring the white sparkle around it. They are zircons, a gem in their own right and a different stone from cubic zirconia.

The bracelet is made in our workshop in Türkiye from 925 sterling silver, then rhodium plated and polished, so the chain and settings keep a bright white tone that matches the zircons and helps the silver resist tarnish. As a dainty silver chain bracelet for women it is easy to wear every day, while the size of the center stone means it holds its own without other bracelets next to it.

Zircon is one of the December birthstones, so this zircon bracelet also works as a December birthstone bracelet: a birthday gift for her if she was born that month, or a Christmas present for a girlfriend or a wife.
