This chain bracelet is built from organic links of blackened 925 sterling silver. Elongated open ovals and an uneven round ring alternate with small round rings in a link and chain bracelet closed with a lobster clasp. Two of the links are bezels whose gold-tone rims follow the outline of their stones, a raw ruby in one and a raw amethyst in the other. Small round rubies in gold-tone bezels mark the ends of the links.

The silver is oxidized and matte, dark in the recesses and paler on the raised edges, so from across a room it reads as a black bracelet. At about 60 grams it is a real silver bracelet with weight you feel on the wrist.

This natural gemstone bracelet pairs a deep red ruby with a purple amethyst, both untreated and left uncut, with their rough crystal surface. Red and purple together make it a multi-colored gemstone bracelet. For a July birthday it is a ruby birthstone bracelet, for February an amethyst birthstone bracelet, and for a couple born in those months a two birthstone bracelet.
